Age
Kittens are individually assessed for adoption readiness. Kittens are
usually ready to go to their new homes between 12 ~ 16 weeks of age.
Kittens will have received their first set of vaccines, one de-worming and a vet
exam. Health records, photo album, and a going-home gift
basket consisting of current kitten food and some favorite toys will
also be provided by Sheepish Curls Cattery.
Pricing
Because the Selkirk Rex coat modifying gene is dominant, we get straight coated kittens in the same litter with the more desirable curly kittens. These straight coated pets
feel LIKE SILK and have the same wonderful personality as their curly coated
siblings but they are priced lower than the
curly ones. Kittens are priced on an individual basis in three categories:
~ Pet kittens are beautiful, loving, and healthy. They are kittens that do not conform
100% to
the breed standard set forth by CFA and TICA. Our
prices range from $400 ~ 600.d at $500.
~ Show quality kittens
meet the breed standard set forth by
CFA and TICA. They have
the correct ear set, head profile, body, eyes, and coat texture.
Breeder cannot
guarantee the show success of the kitten as show successes are
dependent on
outside factors including but not limited to competition,
grooming, condition, health
and maturity. Our prices range from $500 ~ 800.
~ Breeder quality kittens meet the breed standard set forth by
CFA and TICA. They
have the correct ear set, head profile, body, eyes, and coat
texture to produce
exceptional kittens to further continue the Selkirk Rex
breed. Our prices range from $700 ~ 1000.
Deposit/Payments/Refunds
A non-refundable deposit of half the purchase price of the cat/kitten will hold your choice until it is old enough to leave the cattery. No kitten is reserved until the deposit is received. If for any reason you cannot take delivery of the kitten, your deposit can be transferred to another kitten.
In the unfortunate event that a kitten is found to have a birth defect or genetic disorder before delivery or shipping the deposit will be refunded or transferred to another kitten.

Spaying & Neutering
Policy
We have our extremely knowledgeable & experienced Vet spay/neuter all pet kittens before they leave us and the buyer
is required to pay for this additional fee. The cost for spaying
(female) is $125 while neutering (male) costs $100.This works best for the kittens as recovery is faster at this age and stress is minimized while mom and kittens are still together. Our kittens are up and running around the same day after the procedure.
Registration papers of the kitten will be given to the buyer when a certificate of the
spay/neuter is provided by our Vet and the amount is paid in full.

Shipping
We would love for you to visit us and meet the parents of your new kitten. If you are unable to visit us and pick up your kitten we will gladly ship to the airport most convenient to you. Shipping costs are available upon request
and we have no control over these costs. Final payment is due prior to shipping.

2. Final Payment: To be paid by any of the options above if the kitten is being
shipped. If the kitten is being picked up, CASH is the
